Central Swimming Champs Feb 10-12 at Waterworld

Central Swimming proudly announces the Central Swimming Championships at Waterworld in Hamilton. Featuring our top swimmers from across the four regions of Hawkes Bay, Taranaki, Bay of Plenty and Waikato, this event serves as an excellent stepping stone to the National Age Group Championships.

Highly prized Central Swimming Medals will be awarded to place getters, and ribbons for all finalists. And with the support of Swim T3, up to $2000 in prize vouchers will be awarded for top swims in each stroke,including spot prizes for outstanding PBs!

These Championships are also a pinnacle event for our AWD athletes, being the first stage qualifying event for our Paralympic swimmers heading towards London 2012.  From here they may have the opportunity to attend the British National Championships in Sheffield which is the last chance qualifying event for London 2012
